Morgan Gibbs-White’s fiancée has appeared to take aim at Thomas Tuchel after the Nottingham Forest midfielder was left out of England’s latest squad.

The 26-year-old was omitted from England’s World Cup squad in the summer despite an impressive Premier League campaign for Forest last season.

Gibbs-White has made another strong start to the season with Forest with a goal and two assists in four Premier League games so far.

But the midfielder was not named in Thomas Tuchel’s latest England squad which was announced on Friday for their upcoming Nations League matches against Spain, Czech Republic and Croatia.

In a post on Instagram after the announcement, Gibbs-White’s fiancée, Britney De Villiers, shared a stat on Instagram which highlighted the Forest midfielder’s strong start to the Premier League campaign.

De Villiers’ post read: ‘Morgan Gibbs-White is the only player to have created 5+ chances in a single Premier League game this season.’
