🔥 Gyökeres sends Arteta reminder with goal and assist in Champions League
Nov 04 2026 22:48 · By onefootball.com · 17 Reads
Despite his lack of minutes for Arsenal this season, striker Viktor Gyökeres is still managing to make his mark.
The Gunners boast a 2-0 lead over Slavia Prague at half-time and the Sweden international has played a key role in both goals.
10 minutes into the game, he combined brilliantly with Noni Madueke, courtesy of an exquisite pass, as the winger went on to open the scoring.
Then, before the break, Gyökeres got on the scoresheet himself with a strong finish from a tight angle.
The striker now has a goal and two assists in his four Champions League appearances this season, and has the most assists of any Arsenal player in the competition so far.
Is he deserving of a more prominent role at Arsenal this season?
