Aston Villa handed double boost ahead of Tottenham trip

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery expects Matty Cash and Joao Gomes to both be available for Saturday’s trip to Tottenham.
Cash was part of the squad for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup win over Coventry City but remained an unused substitute, while Gomes missed the game with a calf problem.
The Brazilian is also available again in the Premier League after serving a three-match suspension following his red card against Brighton in the opening game.
Emery, however, still has a lengthy injury list to contend with ahead of the trip to north London.
“We have so many players injured, so it is difficult to mention everyone,” he said.
“Marco Bizot is out, Onana is out, Cisse is out. Pau and Maatsen are out. Goretzka is out. Madjo is out.”
