Thomas Tuchel makes England squad decision on Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been named in England's squad for Nations League fixtures against Spain, Czechia and Croatia this international break.

Leeds Live reports the call-up. The Leeds United striker has four goals in six this season, a strike every 60 minutes, making him the Premier League's most prolific English natural number nine.

He was called up by Thomas Tuchel in March, earning a first cap in nearly five years against Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay, but missed World Cup selection as Tuchel chose Saudi-based Ivan Toney as the third back-up.

He now returns alongside James Trafford for an extended window of four matches, with England facing Czechia home and away within the block.

Elsewhere, Anton Stach has been included in Jurgen Klopp's first Germany squad, with the former Liverpool manager naming two groups to split the four games. Stach will face the Netherlands and Greece at home on 27 September before returning to Leeds.

As many as 13 Leeds players are set for duty, with academy product Jayden Lienou joining Ethan Ampadu, Harry Wilson and Daniel James for Wales, while Joe Rodon continues his hamstring recovery.

The call-up looks deserved. England delivered the third-most accurate crosses at the World Cup and, with few in-form options behind Harry Kane, Calvert-Lewin appears the natural back-up, the only natural striker behind Kane this month. He will be 31 by Euro 2028, and his anticipation and poaching give him a real chance.
