Arteta gives latest update on Arsenal winger Saka’s injury recovery

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka is set to be sidelined for a “while” yet.
The Arsenal winger is facing an extended spell out, with Arteta revealing he is not expected to return to training on the pitch until after the upcoming international break.
“We are talking about weeks,” Arteta said.
“Let’s see, after the international break he will start hitting the pitch and doing more activities depending on how he feels.
“But unfortunately he is going to be out for a while.”
Arteta was reluctant to place an exact timeframe on Saka’s return, with Arsenal still in the early stages of his recovery.
“I don’t want to put too much pressure on the guys,” he added.
“They are doing the best to get him fit but it’s still quite early.”
However, Arteta says Ezri Konsa is “fine” amid concerns over his fitness following the Champions League win over Sparta Prague.
